The “adventure” part of adventure Arizona elopement photography was taken very literally for Kayla and Bennet’s celebration in Sedona.
We started with a quiet moment pre-sunrise under the stars, then took a hike on Soldier’s Pass trail to their private ceremony, and wrapped the day with a helicopter tour of Sedona’s red rocks courtesy of Apex Air! This hiking & helicopter elopement celebrated the best of Sedona, Arizona.
This high-flying pair of lovebirds was all about celebrating their elopement, their way. Kayla chose a gorgeous cape with floral details instead of a veil, and the classic red Sedona dirt only adds to the memories. These two also brought along a kombucha toast to celebrate! Elopements are such an open book for adding personal touches.
Sedona has a very deserved reputation as a popular tourist & elopement destination. That said, there are absolutely ways to celebrate all to yourself like Kayla & Bennet did for their elopement! Even though Seven Sacred Pools on Soldier’s Pass Trail is a very popular location, we were able to enjoy a completely private ceremony by scheduling this elopement for an off-season winter month at sunrise. The Sedona Airport runway was also a location all to ourselves. Well, and the pilot!
Adding an exciting activity like a helicopter ride is an incredible way to make an elopement an even more memorable experience. Sedona is full of other fun adventure options for hikes and off-roading. These red rocks are one of my favorite areas in Arizona for elopements. Let’s plan your your adventure together!
